In my last post I was talking all about London’s “Little India,” Southall. Well, when I go to Southall, though there might be many exotic places to eat, there is only one place that I ever really want go: Shahanshah. In English, the name of this restaurant translates to “kings of kings.” Quiet frankly, that is exactly what their samosas are. I double dog dare anybody reading this blog to find more delicious samosas than these on Planet Earth. Seriously… they are that good.

I just love eggs. I love them scrambled nice and fluffy. I love them sunny side up. I love a fabulous omelet filled with delicious goodies. And I discovered that chocolate eggs aren’t so bad either. Here’s a little egg dish I whipped up for those of my friends who are celebrating Easter next weekend.

I adore nuts. While nuts are good for you, they can also be bad for you… if you eat them like I do. I just can not eat them in moderation. I love peanuts, walnuts, pistachio nuts, hazelnuts, you name it, but most especially, I love macadamia nuts. To me, they taste like little [...]

I love to check out what Bakerella is up to. She really is an artist with teeny weeny foodstuffs. Bakerella is most famous for her cake pops. I have bought all the stuff I need to make them, but the ingredients have been sitting inside my cabinets for many a month. Her newest creations were [...]
Housewife in a Hurry: Chocolate Covered Pretzels
by Heavenly Housewife on 26. Aug, 2009 in Housewife in a Hurry, Snack
Most things you can buy in America, you can pretty much find here in the UK too (although sometimes its more expensive). But you know what I haven’t seen? Really good pretzels. The other day I was shopping with Mr P in Sainsbury’s and I came across some somewhat anemic “jumbo” pretzels. A thought [...]
