To my daaaaaaaahling readers,
Something really crappy has happened to my blog. Blogger.com has forced me to change my website’s address. I am really upset. This is based on the fact that my address was donutstodelirium.com and not donutstodelirium.blogspot.com. I had my blog independently hosted because I thought that would make my blog address more easy to remember.
Not very long ago I was considering what I should do to celebrate my blog’s one year anniversary (which would have been March 31). Now it’s never going to happen thanks to the fine people at blogger.com. I feel like everything I have written this year has pretty much been flushed down the toilet.
I am so upset with the whole thing that I really have no desire to write anymore posts as part of Blogger. I do have a couple of obligatory posts that need to go up and you may be seeing those in the upcoming weeks, but after that, I think thats it. Hopefully with Mr P’s help I will restart this blog afresh … I don’t know. I really have no idea at the moment, but I’ll keep you updated.

I'm sorry to hear about blogger. If your blog is hosted independently why do they care if you have the .blogspot at the end? I'm part of wordpress and really like it if that is helpful. I hope you don't let the people at Blogger stop you from writing. I love reading your blog.

Sorry for the Blogspot Bullies. You should continue in a new format like wordpress or something more fabulous. Forced change can sometimes unearth better things!

I can understand how frustrated you are. I would be every bit as upset too. After all, I do have a flair for being dramatic. I really and truly hope that you will continue to post. I love reading your blog!
I'd be so pissed as well HH. Blogger tends to create quite a lot of unhappy bloggers I read every so often. I know that I've become quite attached to what I've written, good or bad; it's all the time and effort that we put forth. I really hope it all gets worked out with the help of your dear hubs and just know that we support you no matter where you are, but please don't give up. You are a bright spot in this gals dreary existence. Blogger shame on you > :

Oh no that is terrible! Siri from Transplanted Baker had her entire blog deleted from Blogger. I made the switch to wordpress a couple of months ago because I was afraid something like this would happen to FOA. I would be so disappointed if you stopped blogging, you have such a unique voice in this food blog realm! xo

Hmm that is really weird that they wanted you to change the address… Don't you have to pay to have the .com in the end? I guess I just don't understand what's going on. So sorry to hear you're upset. I love your blog. You have a great sense of humor and reading your blog posts brightens my day.
I thought Blogger gave people the option with regard to their url so why the forced change now?! Hmm. Does this mean that your old posts will not be included in your new blog site? Please, please don't stop blogging. Change to wordpress if you have to but don't let Blogger dampen your spirit k. Hugs to you!!

I have a lot of issues with them myself and they are very unhelpful. (To state it nicely.)
Please don't give up posting. What would we do without you, your humor and recipes?
Why not try Wordpress? I've heard good things about it.
Change sucks, but perhaps something good will come out of it!

Why dont you move your blog to Wordpress? you can keep whatever address you have registered…dont leave…I so enjoy you..

Have you looked into porting your blog contents to the new blog? And there’s a redirect option that allows traffic to be forwarded automatically without any loss of your Google stats… I don’t know the details, but you shouldn’t have to abandon your blog. That sucks.
I can’t believe it!!! Did you loose all your past posts?!!? How am I ever going to refer back to your genius?
I can see like tasters on my blog roll of your previous posts but can’t access them… it’s like the worst torture imaginable.
