A Cake Ball Bonanza!

“Put ‘em in your mouth and suck ‘em.”–Chef, from South Park

Thanks to this post, I can say “balls” all I want and it’s(somewhat) appropriate. So hey, that’s just what I’m going to do! Perhaps, just perhaps, I have done this post just so I can say balls. You know how naughty I can be. You by now that Moi lives with one foot in the land of frivolity, and the other foot in the land of freaky-doo.
Well, for a while I have been wanting to make these easy and delicious cake balls, and now that I have started I have gone ball mad! Ball bonking mad. Just close your eyes and picture a very glam Dior clad housewife running around the house, chasing Mr P and screaming “BALLS” almost the same way that one might play peak-a-boo. This game is peak-a-ball! Excited? Want to join in on the bullocks?
Check out these super tasty balls!
These ones are made of chocolate cake, chocolate frosting, and extra walnuts added into the mix. I also used some whole walnuts for garnish. So essentially, we’ve got balls AND nuts! Thats two double entendres for the price of one daaaaaaaahings LOL :D . Am I not just so clever???

Here is one with strawberry cake mix, cream cheese icing, and chocolate coating. They would be an awesome Valentine’s Day treat. When someone asks you what you gave your sweetie for Valentines’s, you can honestly say “balls.” You can tell all of your friends that your darling partner chewed your balls :D ! Oh, I am horrid, I do realize. But you know that now that I’ve got the “ball” I am totally running with it…. (and towards the loony bin).

This one was my favorite. These are made with an orange flavored cake mix, cream cheese frosting, and chocolate coating.

People just love munching on (cake) balls. They really are yummy. Take them to work. Have your nasty co-workers eating your balls. Who knows? Maybe it will sweeten them up. Have a ball! Okay, I’ve officially gone “nutty” (get it LOL?), I think it is time for Mr P to tuck me into bed. Goodnight daaaaaaahlings!

Ingredients:

1 (18.25 oz) box of cake mix made to manufacturer’s instruction
1 16oz jar of frosting
6 oz chocolate for melting or other kind of confectionary coating

Bake you cake according to the manufacturer’s instructions, and let it cool. Cut off all the brown crispy edges. Crumble your entire cake into little bread crumbs. Now mix in your frosting, and roll them into little meat balls. Refrigerate for about an hour.
Now, melt some chocolate and coat the cake balls. Place on some wax paper and let cool completely before eating.

… So, what are you waiting for, go make some cake balls. GO NUTS!
