Heavenly’s Favorite Things

You know how Oprah does that show where she gives away her favorite things??? There was a time when I would watch those shows and feel SOOOOOOO jealous. I remember once calling hubby at work and I was practically crying! “Where are my goodies?” I would ask. Of course Mr P would do his best to soothe the frazzled housewife. For you see, I didn’t care if the people in the audience were deserving, or if they’d been though some horrible hardship… no, I didn’t care at all. All I wanted was a big basket of goodies!

You know, today in American is the biggest shopping day of the year. I guess you are wondering what to buy the housewife who seems to have pretty much everything. So, here’s my list daaaahlings. I figure if all my followers pitch in to buy me these things, not only would you make me super happy, but you would also be boosting the economy :D , how cool is that? It’s actually not a big list. Moi would always rather have a few really awesome things than a lot of mediocre tat.

I am not one of those girls who likes to buy a lot of dishes and stuff. Yeah, you know who you are! But if I could have anything that I wanted, I would love to have a full tea service by Paul Smith for Thomas Goode. One tea cup and saucer alone costs £89($147)! But my goodness, how cool would it be to serve tea and cakes from these?

Prada does gorgeous big bags. I love big bags. They kind of give you the illusion of being thin too. Thin and rich. This one from Prada is totally on my wish list. It’s called the Cervo Shine Hobo (just in case you want to pick it up for me at Nieman Marcus). The leather is so soft. Oh, I so want this. Think of all the Laduree macaroons that would fit in here. Oh my goodness, it’s like buttah!

I’d also love some fabulous Bvulgari rings to decorate my fingers with while I am doing the dishes. If I must do housework, why should I not look fabulous doing it? Huh Mr P??? Yes, Mr P, I am talking to you *kisses*. I was thinking of these Monoglo rings.
How about these candles from Cire Trudon? Did you know they were the official suppliers to the court at Versailles (supplying Louis XIV, Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette right up until their untimely ends)? If they were good enough for Marie Antoinette, I think they might serve me quite well too. Each candle comes in a beautiful hand blown holder with a golden crest. I have smelled these last time I was in Selfridges, and let me tell you, they are simply divine! I can assure you, this would look lovely right next to my bed. For a mere £45 per candle, you may indulge yourself in buying one for your favourite hausfrau.

What things are on your wish list this year?
