Heavenly's Spring 2010 Fashion Picks

I adore fashion. I love checking out the newest fashions every season and seeing what my favourite designers have come up with. Moi had ideas of being a fashion designer when she was younger, but I have taken a more difficult (though rewarding) route, as the wife of Mr Pesnickety.

I offer you Heavenly Housewife's Spring 2010 fashion picks:

Here is an ensemble which was part of the newest Fendi collection. There is something very cool about this. I love nude colours, but I am also loving the shapes here, and the look as a whole. This may be one of the first times I've seen a jumpsuit that didn't look silly. As a general rule, a jumpsuit is a major faux pas.

Here is a very classic and fitted black dress by Jil Sander. I love it that though there is drapery, there is a gorgeous silhouette. I really like the length too. Very sexy. Mr P would like this one, I'm sure.

I love flowy dresses. Here is a fabulous one from the Diane Von Furstenburg collection. Perfect for cruising on a luxury yacht. Surely you have a yacht dear, right?

And this one is by Milly. I am a huge Milly fan. I have a Milly winter coat which I consider one of the jewels of my wardrobe. I've gotten loads of compliments on it. Of course, this will require more time on the hamster wheel.

The housewife has a bit of a quirky side though, if you haven't noticed. And the best quirky piece I've found this season is this bathing suit (?) by Moschino. Love Moschino. Yes, I would totally wear this.

I know you are thinking, "Oh no, Heavenly Housewife is going to have a Bijork moment." Far from the case my dears. I've tried it on, and as you can see, I'm going to be the envy of all the girls by the pool. Don't hate me cause I'm beautiful daaaaaaaahlings.

In looking over my choices, I see that it's all neutrals and black and white. This is not normally the case, as I just love bold colours. I just didn't see anything of the sort which wowed me though.

Do you have your beady eyes focused on any particular fashion pieces? Bought anything cool lately? Do tell. I love talking fashion.

Oh you look way good HH, watch out!

Love your pick's, dresses to swimsuits very clever!

My hair is orange/copper at the moment so I'm rethinking my wardrobe. I think bold colours are the go for me.
Have a lovely weekend my darling HH,

Bwah! That chicken cracked me up, HH!

Yet another thing we have in common, I actually went to school for fashion design ... for a brief period in my youth. It didn't stick though, I got bored, left the program and went on to a real university and an art history degree. Sometimes I think I should have stuck it out.

Now, what's the deal with all the jumpsuits? It seems like I'm seeing them everywhere again these days ... and that's not a good thing. Its all too 80's for me. LOL

p.s. - as for items on my list ... none to many. The Diva is built for comfort, not for fashion! ;)

Happy weekend, dear HH!! xoxoxo

Though, I've never been one for fashion, I do like a nice fashionable dress every now and then. I'm more of the jeans and t-shirt type of girl. hehe...I love the second and third dress. More so the second one. Simple and elegant. The rooster at the end if hilarious. Reminds me of those who dress up their pets in clothing.

Gosh, it's been forever since I've been shopping. The last thing i bout was a blouse from Anthropologie. And that was quite a long while ago.

LOL - that chicken is giving that model a run for the money! Like Jenn I'm more of a jeans and t-shirt girl most of the time. Right now I am a pajama and sweatpants kinda girl because my jeans are too tight! My fav item in your lineup is the DVF dress (although I'd have to have about a foot of fabric chopped off the bottom and hubby would need to get a 2nd job). My latest quirky purchase is a pair of silver sequined sneakers (I had to sneak off to the register to buy them because my mom said they were so ridiculous that I should put them back)

I have boots. That's about it. New suede boots though that I'm dying to wear with my world's tackiest dress ( I can't wait to wear it and take pics--you'd hate/love it! Ruffles, pink plaid and sequins!!!! So tacky and so wonderful!)

Yes, I am hooked on fashion .. although I'm mostly a gawker, rather than an active participant .. still, can talk abt it for hours! The jumpsuit doesn't work for me, BUT the little black dress, and mostly everything from DVF is something I would wear. Tres chic! As for the chicken dress, well, u are in Paris ... where everyone makes a fashion statement, so why not u?!
