What I am about to show you is just a little bit uncanny. Remember how I wrote about seeing the Waterouse exhibit at the Royal Academy of the Arts?? I have been a fan of J.W. Waterhouse for like ever. One thing I especially love is that his creations all seem to tell a story. There have been many times when I would imagine that I was the subject of one of his gorgeous works of art. Could it be that Mr Waterhouse has read my blog? No, LOL, he is way dead. But the reason I ask is because I may have been the muse for the paintings I am about to show you. You see, one thing I learned, when I saw the exhibit, was that Waterhouse had made a series of paintings entitled “Dolce Far Niente.” Can you guess what this means? It means, “Sweets Doing Nothing.” They are all paintings of idle but fabulous ladies. Does this sound like a certain blogstress you know? Check these out. One of these girlies very well may be your favorite housewife… but no, not the one with the exposed boobie.

This exhibition runs until September 13th 2009. Be sure to go if you get the chance. This is a good one! Don’t forget the yummy snacks in the Royal Academy’s basement cafe
