Bad Hubby, Bad: A Parisian Adventure

The last trip Mr Persnickety went on did not include me. Thats okay really. You see, I have a little rule: Hubby is not allowed to have fun without me. I do not consider road trips fun. Hence, it was okay that Hubby went with a couple others on a road trip through western Europe. I’m not bothered. I actually hate being in the car for long periods of time. It makes me queasy and super cranky. I also hate the feeling of confinement. Yes, a road trip would allow one to see beautiful country side. But can I be frank? Nature, shmature! I can do without it. Hubby and his travel companions had a great time. Good for them, right? Well, it was fine, until Hubby showed me some of the pictures.

You see, Hubby and company made a pit stop in Paris. Paris! And they had dinner. And it was not just any old scummy rest stop. Oh no, daaaalings. They feasted in an amazing looking mosque.

Are you beginning to feel my annoyance??? If not, wait, it gets better! Here comes the food:

Cous cous, meat, stew… other stuff…

What????? Hubby had sweets???? Clearly those are a present to bring back to the housewife right? Alas, it wasn’t!!! Is your mouse burning from my fury?

A nice mint tea to gulp down the sweets with?????

Now for the cherry on the cake daaaahlings. There are actually little birdies that fly down through the centre of the mosque (as it is a courtyard) and they help clean up the tables! What is this? Some freakin Snow White adventure???? Surely you agree this looks like “fun”! Surely you understand that this is against the rules.

Well guess what? Hubby is now taking the housewife to Paris at the end of next month. Woo hoo! Sometimes I have to teach Hubby a lesson, and this one is going to cost him mega bucks LOL. Check back here from my posting from the “City of Lights.” Little sparrows included.
